Spotlight on: Sir Ector the Magnificent

Sir Ector the Magnificent is the combat leader of the Copper Co-ops. He rides into battle on his mighty dire boar, Hrothgar, which was a gift from his wife, Grillka. Until recently, he carried the Co-ops' cleric, Gade Goodberry, in a side-mounted saddle.

Sir Ector's main combat style is to charge headlong into a fight, hoping to absorb damage that might otherwise hurt one of his compatriots. Sir Ector's "best plan yet" typically involves him sacrificing his life stupidly, such as offering to let the green dragon eat himself alive so his friends can then attack the dragon while it sleeps and digests.

Although his bonus to Diplomacy is ridiculous, Sir Ector's favorite catch phrase is, "Negotiations have failed!" followed by unspeakable violence.

Sir Ector is full of bluster, false modesty, larger-than-life braggadocio, and his in-your-face humanity (or if you will, dwarfity). His teammates tolerate him because the only thing he'll brag about more than himself is his friends. Django is not just a bard, but "the greatest bard who ever put song to story." Gade Goodberry "may be the smallest in size but the largest in spirit." Fraenir is, well, Sir Ector isn't exactly sure what Fraenir is, but he can fly and spit acid and is the best there is at that.
